Aspen is a historic Colorado resort, the old mining town has turned into a posh resort but not only is it vibrant and offers plenty of events for young people and families.
There are 4 very different ski areas: “Ajax” is rather sporty and complete; “Highlands” is wilder and reserved for freeride enthusiasts, frequented mainly by locals; “Buttermilk” is dedicated to freestyle and beginners; finally “Snowmass” is larger, easier and also more popular.
